About The Author
Belonging to an average Christian family, Garland Guion is an American author and a preacher of the word of God. Being depressed and suicidal from a young age, he found solace in the place of God, and now, in his old age, he serves as a superintendent and an elder at a local church in the same town where he lives.
Garland Guion is an American author born in the small town of Aurora in North Carolina. Graduated with a B.A in Psychology, lived with his family of three siblings: a brother named Doug, two sisters named Sheila and Lisa, and a mother named Ethel. He completed his basic education at a public high school at the start of the summer in May of 1978 and entered Saint Augustine University in the same summer in June.
Guion’s life hasn’t been easy; he was one of the many people in the world who had a rather pessimistic outlook on life. He was constantly plagued by depressive and suicidal thoughts, and he even got introduced to a young evangelist who guided him towards the path of Christianity.
He married a beautiful woman on his journey to get closer to God and Jesus Christ, and he married her right after graduating college. He now has four kids with his wife, With his eldest, Joy, being married to his son in law, David. Garland now serves as a superintendent and a church elder at a local church in Knightdale, North Carolina, called Evangel Baptist Church.
